50th Wedding Anniversary

We have just celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversay. A good number of our family and friends had a lunch together at 'Infusions' in Woodvale. A great eating place. Afterwards many drove over to our home and listened to the original wedding service which I had transferred from a reel to reel tape to CD. Our voices certainly have changed over the past 50 years. I gave each person a print out of our family tree from 1850 to 2007!. All in all this was a great day.

the journey we have taken over the past few years is one that never brought to us anything which we regret. The one we look to each day to guide our steps aright is certainly one that can be trusted at all times. Starting in the UK then onto Perth, Australia then upto the Pilbara region in the North West of Western Australia to be followed by a stint back in Perth before making for Adelaide in South Australia. After spending an interesting time in Adelaide we have now returned to Perth and thoroughly enjoying life. In my years as a preacher I have, in order to look after my family, been a truck driver, taxi driver, office supplies builder, security agent/guard as well as full time minister of a number of churches where a new building was a requirement. He who guides our steps is one who says He will never leave or forsake us. He has proven Himself to be a faithful and loyal friend and, we are sure, will be to the end of the journey.
